Configure Velocity.log

Hi Forum,
I'm using Velocity with Springframework and was trying to use seperate log for Velocity engine,so I did configured velocity.properties as

runtime.log=C:/Project/WEB-INF/logs/velocity/velocity.log still I dont see any warnings or errors getting written to this log.
Any Idea what is missing here?
Your suggestions would be very helpful.

My suggestion is that you post this on the Web forum (http://forum.springframework.org/viewforum.php?f=3) since it's not related to Spring Web Flow.
