Default Spring MVC on WebSphere Portal

I am about to start working on a new project and we would rather use the Spring MVC instead of Struts. But the rub is we have to host the Spring MVC app in WebSphere portal.

Does anyone know if this is possible or of someone who has done this?

    Thanks a bunch,
    James Goodwill

There is Spring MVC Portlet support in the sandbox. It is slated for inclusion in Spring 1.3, but you can already start using it now if you want.
