Idp Initiated SSO
Hi,
I am new to both SAML and Spring Security.
I think the requirement I have is that the system I am working on acts as SP, but the SSO is initiated on the IdP side .... So, a third party system wants to access a resource on the target system i am working on, and bypass the need to login to the target system using SAML to achieve SSO.
Is this library a good fit for providing the implementation on the target system?
Is the sample app configured in this way?
Are there any good documents that you can point me at to get started down this path?
Thanks,
mwp

Hi mwp,
This is the right library to cover your use-cases and the sample application is also supporting IDP-initialized SSO. Once federation is set-up it doesn't matter whether SSO is IDP or SP initialized.
You can find documentation to get you started at here.
