Webstart offline mode: ClassPathXmlApplicationContext takes too long to initialize
We have a problem right now with our webstart application since we migrated from Java 1.6 to 1.7. The spring create JAXBContext takes too long to get initialized when the application is launched in webstart offline mode(Launching application from cache with no connection to the server).
When the webstart application launches with server up, it takes around 2-100 milliseconds for it to create the ApplicationContext. However, in offline mode, it takes anything ranging from 2min-15min to create the application context. This is strange behavior and significantly impacting our application. We are using Java1.7.u7 and org.springframework.oxm-3.0.5.RELEASE jar.
This problem wasn't encountered when we were using Java 1.6. Has anyone else encountered the issue? Any suggestions/ides to fix this problem.
