Run Production Spring MVC Application on Windows
Hi,
I have a project to create a web application and decided to write it using Spring MVC. The issue I'm having is that this is for a small company and all they have is a windows server and they don't want to spend any money to buy anything else. The server has IIS but I could disable/uninstall it if I want to. The question is, which web/app server should I use? I'm leaning torwards using Apache HTTP server and Tomcat 7 but I'm not sure if the Windows version is reliable and secure. Any thoughts? Are there any other (free) options on Windows?

Does anyone have experience with running spring on a windows server? is there a preferred Web/app server that I should be using?
