Not able to itegrate EHcache with spring 3.0.5

Hi Guys,
I am having trouble integrating ehcache in spring web. I have searched certain websites and ehcache documentation but still i was not able to integrate it
I get cache exception as follows

Thing is i have ehcache.xml in my web-inf folder

What is the webappp.root property. Only /WEB-INF/ehcache.xml should be enough.
