    Default spring-integration-smpp question

    Hi all,

I would like to know how to check out the latest version of spring-integration-smpp from sandbox. So far the only lead I have is to clone from git://git.springsource.org/spring-integration/sandbox.git . But looking at the activity stream, it seems like the latest activity was on 27th September 2011 which over a year ago.

When I look at the activity of spring-integration itself (git://git.springsource.org/spring-integration/spring-integration.git) the last activity was on 10th January 2012, which a bit weird, considering version 2.2. is just recently released.

Is the git repository updated? or should I clone it from another place?

    Thanks for any assistance beforehand,

Spring Integration moved to github (around the time of that last activity on git.springsource.org). It's here now:
    https://github.com/springsource/spring-integration

We also now have an "extensions" repo here:
    https://github.com/springsource/spri...ion-extensions

However, the SMPP adapters have not been moved there from the old sandbox. Would you be interested in participating? (would involve cleaning up and issuing a pull request for the new extensions repo).

Thanks for the links Mark, I will have a look what I can do to participate. I am pretty new to git, but our plan is to use SI for our smpp connection.

Any guidelines on how to contribute to SI and how Spring's git repository is structured? (related to SI)

    Thanks

    Hi,

I have create a Jira to 'Add SMPP Support' to Spring Integration Extensions:

    https://jira.springsource.org/browse/INTEXT-30

In regards to contributing, the best source for Spring Integration is:

    https://github.com/SpringSource/spri...tor-Guidelines

All Spring Integration related projects follow that same process. I hope this should make it fairly easy to get started, even if you not that familiar with Git, yet.

    Cheers,
