Can ACEGI be integrated with Directory Services(Weblogic ADS

I want a clarification on this .

Can ACEGI be integrated with Directory services say(Weblogic Active Directory Services(i want to use this service for authentication))?.

And in the ACEGI 0.8.0 ,in the list of changes

New WebAuthenticationDetails class now used by processing filters for Authentication.setDetails()


is the above class used to collect the principal and credentials from Directory Services??.

I am currently working on the LDAP support for ACEGI; which is under the sandbox in CVS. It currently should be working; but doesn't have any tests. I am currently working on figuring out a way to test the code - the Apache Directory Server looks promising, but I need to get much more familiar with its details before I can get it working.... If you have a chance to download and test the current LDAP support, any feedback would be helpful.
