I have an application that I am upgrading from spring 3.0.5.RELEASE and spring integration 2.0.3.RELEASE to spring 3.1.1.RELEASE and spring integration 2.1.3.RELEASE.

After changing the POM I get the following error when running the tests.

I have traced it back to the following xml in the spring integration XML configuration file

Spring appears to build a map of the scheduled tasks but leaves the 500 fixed rate value as a string instead of converting to a long.

Any know how to get around this problem (or can point out what I am doing wrong). How do I for the fixed-rate value to be treated as long.
