    Default STS 2.9.0.M2 with Bitdefender

I have installed bitdefender recently and then I got this error message when I launch STS.

"Failed to create the Java Virtual Machine"

anyone knows how to fix this?

    cheers,

    Hey Kelvin,

I don't have Bitdeferender installed, therefore cannot provide real good help, just some guesswork here. Does it work if you temporarily deactivate Bitdeferender? Or you can maybe configure options in Bitdeferender to recognize this app as trusted or so?

it doesn't help even if I just disable it. I have to completely remove/uninstall it in order to get spring STS to work.

    cheers,

I am sorry to hear that. Maybe worth reporting this to the BitDeferender team?

yah I guess I have to.
I have seen some suggested solutions for other apps, but not STS.
    kinda strange.
