    Default Overriding a bean defined in XML, in Javaconfig

    Does anyone know how to override a bean, previously defined in an XML configuration, in java config.

    The problem is detailed here:

    but the fix isn't penned in until Spring 3.2

    Since this behaviour is hardcoded I would say: You can't.
