Default GGTS 3.0 M2 fails to install "Google Plugin for Eclipse"

    Hi,

when I try to install the Google Plugin for Eclipse from the extension tab in the dashboard, the installation fails with a "No connector available" message and the following error stacktrace:

    Code:
Problems occurred while performing installation: Operation details

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: Google Web Toolkit SDK 2.4.0 2.4.0.v201206290132-rel-r37 (com.google.gwt.eclipse.sdkbundle.e37.feature.feature.group 2.4.0.v201206290132-rel-r37)
Missing requirement: Google Plugin for Eclipse 3.7 3.0.1.v201206290132-rel-r37 (com.google.gdt.eclipse.suite.e37.feature.feature.group 3.0.1.v201206290132-rel-r37) requires 'org.eclipse.update.core 0.0.0' but it could not be found

    To: com.google.gdt.eclipse.suite.e37.feature.feature.group 3.0.1

    I use a freshly unpacked GGTS 3.0.0 M2 64-bit version on Ubuntu 12.04.

    Cheers,
    Ben

I should mention that for a current workaround the Google Plugin (e.g. for GWT) can be manually installed from the update site:

    Hey!

Thanks for pointing us to this outdated item on the dashboard. I updated the dashboard extension install listing for Eclipse 4.2 based installations with the correct information for the Google Plugin. Works now again from the dashboard.

    Thanks again!
