I have to rework an existing application using Spring and Hibernate. I have already worked with Hibernate but I am pretty new to the "Spring world"

Here's my problem: Until now, the application was using datasources defined in Tomcat and in the Spring xml configuration files, but my new requirements are to stop using the configuration files to allow datasources configuration at the application level.

Do you have any advices on how to achieve this?
