Eclipse Roo Shell freezes
If I start a completely new project using Eclipse and the Roo Shell, everything works flawlessly. By using no Eclipse at all starting Roo inside the Linux shell, everything works flawlessly as well. However if I reopen an existing project, the Roo shell sometimes freezes. Of course this is annoying and prevents from doing serious work. Therefore any kind of help is appreciated.
Here are my installation details:
- Linux Mint 12 (Lisa), 3.0.0-12 Kernel
- Eclipse Indigo
- STS 2.9.2
- spring-roo-1.2.1.RELEASE
Thank you very much in advance
Best regards
Jan

I've same problem: at the project creation all function worked fine, but when I reopen it, roo shell isN1t working. When IDE start the Roo shell display "Open Roo shell for project ..." instead of starting. When I clicked on link and select my project (only this one in workspace), the shell starts, and it seems to wait for command, but when I send 'hint' the shell freezes.
In the progress window is "execute commend 'hint'" process, what bloccks any otger tasks, and is unkillable.
The IDE only closed by kill in process manager.
My environment is:
Windows 7 64bit HUN
STS 2.9.2
spring-roo-1.2.1.RELEASE
I tried it on jdk7, jdk6, and on a newly installed Windows. The project reopen always produce this issue.
Thanks for any help.
Best regards,
Zoltan
