Dear Spring community,

I have created two issues (SPR-9130 and SPR-9125) for which I have provided a solution (in my opinion) useful for the community. However I have a feeling that my pull request is not gonna be reviewed. Have I done something wrong? Maybe I should have cloned not the "master" repository, but the repository of some Spring committer?
