Thread: Can Server Be Configurable Within STS?

Question Can Server Be Configurable Within STS?

After some research, I don't see how to configure a TC server within STS. Working with a few projects, I need to update the server version as well as STS from time to time. After my last server update, I have to deploy projects manually. I wish I miss something on the subject.

You can always right-click in the Servers view to bring up the New Server dialog. That will allow you to add a new server to STS. You can also double-click on an existing server in the view to bring up a configuration editor. From there you can edit several properties. STS will also put a Servers project in your Project Explorer/Package Explorer. That project will contain all the .xml and .properties files for the server if you want to edit those directly.

And you can also configure new tc Server versions (if you downloaded a newer version than shipped with your existing STS installation) and configure a new server to use this new tc Server version from the "New Server" wizard, and then "configure runtime"...
