    Hi Gunnar,

I'm still waiting for 2.0.6 and from what I've heard it should have been released the same date as 2.1 GA. JIRA says "11/Jan/12", any update on this?

    Regards,
    Krzysztof

Any reason for not going with 2.1 release?

Not too much time doing migration from 2.0 to 2.1. I will consider upgrading to 2.1 in the next major release of my app.

I'd still give it a shot since there is not much breaking changes and a lot of 2.1 issues are back-ported to 2.0.6.
Just as an FYI, the main difference between 2.0.6 and 2.1 is introduction fo new modules such as AMQP, Gemfire, Redis and Mongo. Other than that, there is not much difference between them

2.0.6 will be out in the middle of next week (most likely tuesday). I updated the JIRA release date to reflect that (sorry it was still showing an earlier date). We want to have the overlap in order to make sure that any issues discovered by early 2.1 GA users will be candidates for backporting since it's our intention to not have any more releases on the 2.0.x branch after 2.0.6.

    Regards,
    -Mark

Thanks for this update. Like I said, I will consider upgrading to 2.1 GA in the next major release of my app but for now 2.0.6 would work for me perfectly.

    Regards,
    Krzysztof

    Hi Guys,

Just to let you know that I decided to upgrade to 2.1 version and it went smoothly. The migration guide was very helpful.
