STS Crashes whenever I open an HTML file

Whenever I open an html file, either by performing a file search and double clicking on an html file in the search results or navigating to an html file in the package explorer and double clicking the html file, the cursor turns to a spinning disk and before long, the STS title bar says (not responding) and I have to close the program and reopen it. I have STS successfully running for 1 1/2 months, with no problems, but this started happening about 3-5 days ago (Feb 2-6+/-) ... Have there been any new updates that would cause this?

Did you try using

-clean
-refresh

on the first two lines of STS.ini once when starting up?
Renaming the old workspace and starting a fresh one?
Reinstalling STS?
