    Default Install STS Templates Manually

Is it possible to download the Spring Template Projects (Spring MVC Project, Hibernate Utility Project, etc) outside of STS and then install them manually?

I have a secured development environment and would rather avoid having to install STS on the internet pc just to download the templates, plus I don't know if they can be installed manually. I saw someone else had asked this a couple months back but there didn't seem to be any kind of resolution on it.

    Hey!

There is no easy way to download the templates manually and configure them to be used by STS.
But if you access them via STS, they are cached locally. So once you downloaded the template from within STS, it is not downloaded again as long as there is no new version coming up.

There is a complicated one, but that is really complicated and I wouldn't recommend it therefore (it is related to http://blog.springsource.org/2011/02...ce-tool-suite/ and would mean that you basically download the necessary templates, store them locally and configure them as if they were your own, self-defined templates).

I had posted a solution in another thread.

    Have a look at http://forum.springsource.org/showth...oject-Template
