Roo 1.2 and upgrading to Spring 3.1
Can any of you that have upgraded Roo1.2m1 projects to Roo1.2Release and in the process upgraded Spring from 3.0.x to Spring 3.1 please report how well or bad this went? Any caveats to tell about about? Please let us know. I will, when I have made this progress with some current projects.
I did notice this Jira entry: Roo 1.2 doesn't update the Spring.version property within the pom.xml to the 3.1 release, which is a must to know about.

It did not update the pom.xml automatically for me. I simply updated the pom manually, and rebuilt the project and didn't have any issues.

Thanks howler. I think the 3.1 version was built to be an easy migrate path from 3.x, but often there can still be issues or gotchas to look out for. I'm still on 1.2m1 for different reasons, looking on upgrading to 1.2.Release or 1.2.1RC within a few weeks.

Roo 1.2.1 (and build snapshots now) will update Spring to 3.1 automatically when the shell is started.
