    Default "failed to start java machine" only when changing workspace or restart

    From time to time with 2.9.0 snapshot I get a "failed to start java machine" dialog and have to start STS once more. This time it works as it usually does.

    I suspect this is because my JAVA_HOME is "/usr/local/openjdk7". However, in my STS.ini file I have
    -vm
    /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.5.0/Home
    which have worked nicely for starting up STS in java 5. Isn't the ini-file consulted when changing workspace or doing a restart? Is JAVA_HOME consulted during the startup process? Anyone know or can suggest how to check this?
