Using maven+spring+hibernate in a standalone application

i am looking for samples or tutorials of using maven+spring+hibernate together in a standalone application, i searched a lot but couldn't get to something useful, please advise.

if you are using SpringSource Toolkit, you can choose below Create New Project -> Spring Template Projects -> Spring Hibernate Projects. In there you should have a basic configuration you need. Afterwards you can check various examples and tutorials online. Example would be: http://www.mkyong.com/struts/struts-...ation-example/

Just skip the Struts-part.
