I am trying to make the following working:
There is a Spring client app (none-web) that calls a service on the Spring Server through HttpInvoker using Spring Remoting. It should login to the Server only once, and keeps using the same login session for subsequent calls to the service. How to achieve this on both the client and the server?

I have tried different methods but all of the combinations don't seem to work. I am using Spring Security 2.0.4 with Spring Framework 3.0.5.
