Adobe Data Services 4.6 with Spring Support
Just a quick note:
We just posted a Preview build of Adobe Data Services 4.6 on http://labs.adobe.com that now includes support for the Spring Framework for Servlet and all NIO-based channels (RTMP, HTTP and WebSockets), including with NIO channels hosted via Data Services Edge Server for DMZ deployments.
Also new is an all-native Android client SDK, Apple iOS client SDK, HTML5/JS client SDK, SAP Connector and more.
If you aren't familiar with Data Services, it powers some very large online gaming shops like Riot Games as well as the real-time trader desktops of many of the world's largest banks and financial institutions today. With the new Spring support, hopefully this new release will be useful to the Spring developer community at large as well. Data Services is capable of pushing up to 400,000 msgs/s out over a 4-hop double-F5 config (F5-DS Edge Server-F5-DS Endpoint Server) with an avg latency of just 15 milliseconds, from a single 2-CPU machine, and the NIO-based (vs Servlet) channels enable up to 50,000+ simultaneous active connections, perfect for everything from MMO games to Internet-scale apps.
Check it out! We'd love to hear your feedback and ideas.
