Applying Spring Security to Spring Batch Admin
I have a Spring Batch Admin web app created and deployed to our DEV Tomcat server. I now have the requirement of securing all of the pages in the web app with Spring Security. I am familiar with applying Spring Security, with an Active Directory server as the backend, to a web application, but the batch admin web app is constructed very differently from my other app. My other application is a straight Spring MVC web app, with out the Freemarker layer added on.
Has anyone done this already? Can you please share your insight, even if you haven't tried this?

Spring Batch Admin is a very straight MVC application. It should be trivial to secure it with Spring Security (which works with even crooked and non-Spring applications by the way anyway). Were you having a specific problem?

Actually, I have primarily run into issues where I was adding things that would 'collide' with elements that were already in place via the existing code. Once I re-aligned everything, my application appears to be 'secure'.

could you give me an hint where to put the security configuration for spring batch admin.
Is META-INF\spring\batch\servlet\override the "right" place ?
