Spring Payment Services: ISO8583 support?

Hi

I'm investigating if we could use Spring payment together with Spring Integration for a payment application. The application would integrate with client devices using ISO8583.

But I haven't see many updates to the payment project.
Can someone please say what the current status is, and what are the future plans?

You'll need to specify which version of ISO8583 you want. There are three versions
1) ISO8583 - the original spec produced in 1983. Still very common.
2) ISO8583-93 - the updated spec produced in 1993. Amex uses this spec and so does a few other US Processors.
3) ISO8583-2003 - the updated spec produced in 2003. I only know of one bank and Payment Services Provider supporting this spec.

Then there's the Australian version of ISO8583 which is AS2805.

Then there's the UK version called APACS.
