Hardly any commands available when starting Roo Nightly Build

Hey guys,

when I start the nightly build version of Roo, I hardly get any commands to execute. E.g. I cant call "hint". If I type "help" there are hardly and commands/addons listed (see attached log).
If I use the latest Milestone Release (1.2.0.M1) everything works fine.

Any suggestions? Looking forward to any reply.

Hi Nils,

Please download the latest release rather than working with build snapshots (this allows us to trace issues easier). We test Roo releases on all major platforms (Linux, Mac, Windows 7) before releases. Can you please check file permissions on your project and roo installation folders? Also, are you running a firewall which may interfere Roo?

Hi Stefan,

I changed the file permissions + did a complete mvn clean install on the project. Dont know which of the two solved the issues. Anyways, the problem is gone and I can finally enjoy the latest features. Thanks for the hint. Keep up the good work on Roo!

PS: I understand, that giving support on build snapshots is not easy. Thats why I always check if a problem occures in the latest stable release and/or latest milestone release as well, before I post here. As I need some of the latest features, I have to use the development snapshots. Plus, someone needs to identify the bugs in current development versions as well, right ;-)
