I am very pleased to announce that we have released Spring AMQP for Java 1.0 GA!

The artifacts are already available in the Maven Central and SpringSource Maven repository, and the full distribution is available for download here: http://www.springsource.com/download...=Spring%20AMQP

Thanks to all who have provided valuable feedback and raised JIRA issues along the way. While this 1.0 release has been a long time in the making, it has also been extremely popular during its milestone and release-candidate phases. We learned a lot from users along the way, and the support for re-establishing connections and managing transactions is now quite robust.

The timing of this release worked out well given that the availability of RabbitMQ as a service on Cloud Foundry was announced last week. Additionally, the Spring Integration AMQP adapters which depend upon Spring AMQP will be seeing their first milestone release (Spring Integration 2.1 M1) by the end of this week.
