Cant run Roo as standalone or part of STS
Im fairly new to both java and the spring-framework, so please forgive me if this issue is trivial.
When i try to launch Roo from a command prompt i get a quite long error msg (attached) and when i launch from sts, all I get from the prompt in the IDE is a "null" response.
I have installed Roo as part of the sts and i have also tried a seperate install. I get the same result.
Im on a 64bit Windows Home Premium OS. Java sdk 1.7.0 installed (tried sdk 1.6.026 w same result). Maven is running (installed 2.1.1) as part of the sts (mvn --version attached).
I have installed STS in a root dir and ive set 'allow all' permissions for that dir.
Roo seems to have no problem creating its cache dir, but byond that:nothing.
Please advice :-)

Roo 1.1.5 is not compatible with Java 1.7. Either use JDK 1.6 with 1.1.5 or download the latest snapshot release from http://static.springsource.org/downl...hp?project=ROO, which is compatible with JDK 7

Good to hear. It's actually the Apache Felix versions used in 1.1.5 that are not compatible with JDK 7. With these upgraded for 1.2.0.M1, JDK 6 or 7 can be used
