Default Spring Actionscript v2.0 Progress Report

    Hello gentlemen,

I just published a blog with some preliminary information about the ongoing development of Spring Actionscript v2.0:

    http://zwaga.blogspot.com/2011/08/sp...ss-report.html

There's also links to the SVN branch and some information on how to create your own build using Maven.

If anyone here feels up for it, give it a testdrive. Functionality is *very* limited right now, only XML configuration and basic stagewiring is in place. But I'd still like to hear some criticisms and perhaps some ideas or suggestions.

Thank you very much in advance!

    cheers,

    Roland

Sorry for offtop, but could we expect for new progress reports? It's seems like project is abandoned

    Hey there,

sorry for the lack of progress reports, I've been really, really busy with my current project (which uses Spring Actionscript v2.0 naturally). The reality is that for the past few months I've been basically only fixing small bugs in v2.0, there's no real extra features added. (Apart from lazy property placeholder resolving, which I just added this week).

So, in truth, Spring Actionscript 2.0 is getting ready to come out of beta as I believe things are stable enough to use in production (case in point, I eat my own dogfood and my current project relies heavily on SpringAS 2).

If you want the latest and greatest then get the swc's from our maven repository, its ready for production.

I'll need to find time to add more documentation about the new features I guess, but I'm not sure when I'll have time yet. I'm doing my best, I promise! The project is NOT abandoned!

    cheers,

    Roland

I hope you will release soon the final version. Thanks!
