    Default How to import preferences in STS?

    I had to do a fresh installation of STS 2.7.0. On the older installation but same version of STS I exported all my preferences as epf file. When I tried to import these preferences, the preferences had no effect. Neither eclipse generated any errors.

    I have lots of different preferences related to syntax highlighting for Java JavaScript HTML etc. file. But none of these are taking effect.

    I am using Linux Fedora 64bit.

    Can some one help in this regard?
