Talking STS bundle vs eclipse + update STS plugin?

Does downloading using STS bundles have any advantage in comparison to using eclipse and updating it by STS plugins through STS update sites?

Downloading the STS package gives you a pre-configured environment that includes Spring Roo, tc Server 2.5, m2eclipse and EGit (from STS 2.7.0 on), for example. So its easier since you don't need to configure and install all this yourself.

You will get all the complete STS IDE, but you would need to download and configure Spring Roo itself separately, same to tc Server. But once you did that, both ways results in the same setting... :-)
