    Default Crash Report in STS 2.5.1

    Where do I find the crash report log or dump if STS is crashing on a co-worker's machine?
    We are using Ubuntu 10.04 and Spring Tool Suite 2.5.1.

    The install location is at /home/jd/tools/springsource/sts-2.5.1.RELEASE/

    Hi,

    The eclipse maintained log of what is going on is in the .metadata/.log file under the workspace. If you can get it restarted (perhaps supply -clean as a command line argument when starting it), then you may learn more from the error log (Window>ShowView>ErrorLog).
