How do I register a new server under run configurations?

Hi,

I'm using STS 2.6.0. Under my Run Configurations, I have a single Tomcat server listed under "Apache Tomcat" -- http://screencast.com/t/s9vdgKpt6ZoW . I have a different version of Tomcat installed. How do I register that in the Apache Tomcat list of servers?

Hi Dave!

You should open the "Servers" view and add a new server configuration there (right click -> new). The wizard guides you through all the necessary steps, for example, if you need to setup a different tomcat runtime for another tomcat installation on your machine.
