Failure to transfer org.springframework:spring-beans:jar:3.0.4. - HelloCloud/pom.xml

Hi,

I am new of spring, I am running vmware cloud foundry sample spring project on STS 2.6.1 , I got error on HelloCoud/pom.xml file like
" Failure to transfer org.springframework:spring-beans:jar:3.0.4.RELEASE from http://repo1.maven.org/maven2 was cached in the local repository, resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of central has elapsed or updates are forced. Original error: Could not transfer artifact org.springframework:spring-beans:jar:3.0.4.RELEASE from/to central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2): No response received after 60000"

then, added the spring-beans.3.04.jar file but the same error occur , How to fix this ?

Check your connection, check if you use a proxy etc... The error indicates it simply canot connect, in general this means something wrong with your connection setup (you might have configured a proxy but you don't have access anymore etc.).

It 's works fine, I just removed the .m2\repository folder under by local directory, then I updated the maven dependency through STS, its work fine, again I thank u for your guide Marten Deinum.

I thinks the error indicates it simply canot connect, in general this means something wrong with your connection setup .
