we have some consultants at the company who have mentioned that @Cacheable could be the cause of memory leaks that we are currently facing.

I saw on a thread that this was already discussed and I am not sure of the outcome.

Is ehcache-spring-annotations no longer maintained?

What would be the steps involved migrating away from it?
