Thread: STS 2.6 on Windows 7 x64

    Default STS 2.6 on Windows 7 x64

I am running STS 2.6.1.RELEASE on a Windows 7 x64 with a x64 JVM. I pointed -vm to the directory of the x64 JVM. STS is unable to pick up this value. Is this a Eclipse related issue?

    Thanks.

    Hi!

If you use the STS installer, you are prompted to select the JDK directory you would like to use.
If you have extracted the ZIP packages, you can specify the -vm option in the sts.ini file in your STS installation directory.

Just make sure that you downloaded the 64bit version of STS to run on the 64bit JVM.
