Spring Data JPA - Milestone repository not working using nexus

I cannot get the milestone repository to work within our network where we use nexus. I do not know much about nexus & have no access to nexus itself to make any changes. So other than downloading the jar's & packaging them or installing them to each individual developers local repository what is the best option to use Spring Data JPA module?

What is the time frame for an official release?

Just in case somebody is still looking for an answer to this. I had to have a proxy repository setup in nexus which points to the milestone repository.

Sorry I was too late to see this question. Yes, that's also how I did it. I have to setup a proxy first in Maven.
