STS 2.6.1 released

Dear Spring Community,

I'm pleased to announce that we just released SpringSource Tool Suite (STS) 2.6.1.

The release brings you:

• vFabric tc Server 2.5 packaged and supported
• Bugfixes for tc Server instance creation

Doesn't the linux version come with groovy/grails and mercurial support installed already ?
I have to install it temperately from update site.

You can install Groovy-Eclipse, Grails itself and the Grails IDE support directly from the Dashboard. Open the Dashboard, go to "Extensions", select those three components and press install. That's it. No need to deal manually with update sites or things like that.

Oh, I installed it manually from update sites...
Is it same if i would have installed it from dashboard ! or it would cause trouble !

Its the same, but the extension install is easier... :-)

Its really a great news. If I download it the directions on installing it is in included? Ill gonna download it later because I'm using the other laptop. I left it at home. Ill check it later. Thanks for the information!
