Gwt Plugin Async Interfaces not generated

Am using the springsource-tool-suite-2.6.0.SR1-e3.6.2-win32 and the gwt plugin does not generate async interfaces for the gwt remote services. It works if sts is installed into eclipse helios but in the direct install it does not work.
My "build automatically" is set.

I switched to using the gwt-designer (beta) plugin and then using
GWT->Model->GWT Java Project.
Works fine with this.
