Default Is the JMX component production-ready?

    Hi,
I have made some successful tests integrating JMX into the project I'm working on. It all looks perfect (Spring 1.0.1 + Tomcat 5) but I'm wondering if Spring's JMX component is ready for a production deployment.
I understand that this functionality will be moved to the core framework only in Spring 1.2.

    Thanks,
    florin

    Florin,

Much of the work is done on the JMX component already, and I am using it successfully in a project of my own. However, it isn't finished yet and there are still some more features that need to make it into the final implementation along with some additional testing to make sure everything works as it should.

Officially, it will be released in 1.2 and if your application is critical then I wouldn't recommend using the JMX stuff until I have had chance to iron out any remaining bugs and perform some last minute refactorings.

    Rob
