roo:retrieve custom data from one page to another

Can someone tell me how to send data from one page (mostly with a form) to another page and retrieve that data. We know that spring uses something over here but i need to know what and how it does.

scenario:
I need to search for a person and edit his details and the edit_his_details must contain the person id which i used to search him.

(Something like Http request and response.)

Senior members help would be appreciated.

hi all,i am also not able to find this out.can any one help us?.

scenario : student should be searched by his name.on click of result,his name should automatically come to register form.
