Monitor forum
In the hibernate forum (also powered by phpbb) there is an option "Always notify me via e-mail of new posts to forums:" in my profile.
I cannot find such an option in the spring forums : why ?
Thanx

They've probably installed a mod to do it. Issue here in terms of doing the same is that we have 6-7 themes, each of which has to be modified, and a general lack of time.

Ok, so how you, the core spring framework team, are notified of new post. Do you look at each forum to see if there is new posts ?

The system can show you new posts in each forum since your last login. This works, but obviously means it won't pick up new posts since your second-last login (etc.) even if you haven't read them. I also rely on the fact that the browser shows visited links in a different colour from those that haven't been visited.
Definitely for people wanting to just see all posts, a daily digest feature (settable for each forum) such as is coming in the next phpBB version, or is available now via some mods, would be useful...
