I see. Yeah ... i tend to forget STS is Eclipse with Spring plugins. So that means i just need to get BIRT plugins for eclipse and install into STS. Right? Or STS already got the plugins?

Found this SPR-1220 which suppose to add support for birt. So is SPR-1220 implemented? Resolution says unresolved.

I think you should ask the question regarding SPR-1220 in the Spring core framework forum, not the tooling one here. Or maybe ask that question directly as a comment on that issue in JIRA. Having that directly in the issue also expresses your interest in this more directly and help people to prioritize things.
