I've got your point! But sorry no help for you! I've never work with JTA. I'm using more then one datasource but no need to mix both datasource in the sabe transaction.
Well just posting my final digging and solution, I change my approach and change to this solution: LINK

I'm digging in this direction too, just raise some points:
If you need a transaction in both databases you will need to use JTA
If you don't need this, you can configure both...
