Could it be that this has to do with the configuration of the form controller? I.e. did you set the "commandName" to "requestData"? Because i believe this is one of those "works on my machnie"-things...
This sounds reasonable. I think I'd have a funny feeling in my stomach letting the (web-)app write "anywhere" in the filesystem.
