Same here. I watched the cpu and one core is at 100% for a few seconds when changing between .gsp files. Sad to say but this made me go back using Netbeans.

I'm going to try Groovy/Grails tool suite. I didn't even notice it's available. For now I've been using Spring tool suite.

I checked the classpath container and there were quite lots of jars. And external links too (to plugins). It looked quite complete to me.

I know this is an old thread but I just can't get this to work with my existing project imported as grails project to STS.
Tags in .gsp files are not recognized. For example tags...
