What does SCA bring to a design using Spring?

I've been using Spring for several years. I recently looked at Tuscany and SCA. I looked at the Tuscany 10 minute tutorial. I haven't spent much time studying it but I'm curious what SCA adds beyond what Spring offers? Our projects are all done in Java, so I'm not sure if there is a benefit to using SCA.
