anyone been able to run jasperdemo from CVS

i am using the following
spring 1.2.3
resin 3.0.8
my jasper jar is jasperreports-1.0.0.jar (from spring lib directory)

jasperdemo is using jasperreports-0.6.3.jar based on build.xml but i've replaced it to use jasperreports-1.0.0.jar.

now my problem is it doesnt work. i always get this error:

does anyone has any experience w/ jasperdemo and this error?

any help and/or insight will be very much appreciated

I've had a short look at this and it's JasperReports that uses the Java system classpath to comile reports with on the fly.

I've changed the sample application to not compile reports on the fly anymore and I think for now, this is the best option you have.
