No "Spring Insight" section?

using sts 2.5.1 on win 7 64bit

When opening the overview page there isn't a "Spring Insight" section to "enable gathering of metrics" - no idea why not as as far as I know I haven't accidentally changed any sts settings

to prove this I extracted again from original zip download in to another directory and the above settings aren't there either

should it work straight out the box? - if so any ideas why it doesn't for me?

using sts straight from download, the "Spring Insight" section is not there, right click "Open Dashboard" is greyed out

I cannot get it to work either. I can view insight when I start my application server but I cannot see any applications. No insight section in 2.5.1 but I can see it on 2.3.1 when looking at the server overview.

With STS 2.5, the section has been moved into it's own tab. The tab strip is at the bottom of the view.

I can't find any solution for this. I have MVC application built using Spring Template. When I run it and try to open insight view, I see a blank screen. No application is detected. I am using STS 2.5.1 and tc server 2.1 shipped with it. What can be wrong?
